Problem:
Millions of children all over indian are forced into child labour. The numbers are climbing.
Solution:
To tackle the issue, CRY.org targeted individuals in the position to hire - the people with the power to prevent child exploitation. 2000 ‘fake’ resumes were mailed to CEOs, MDs, GMs and HR Directors of labour-intensive Industries. Reading the resume soon revealed the shocking truth of how a little worker girl was exploited. Her application was denied,of course. But that was the whole idea.
Results:
-Sign ups for the Coporate Sponsorship Programme went up by 36%.
- Average time spent on CRY.org increased by 540%
- Enquiries are still pouring in.
